What being a Multidisciplinary Designer means to me

For me, being a "Multidisciplinary Designer" means a designer with the ability to successfully work in more than one area of design. I feel this to be an apt description of who I am as a designer. I like to be able to step into any role and be both productive and effective.

Projects

These are things I have worked on in the past, either as a student at Full Sail, in collaboration with other designers, or independently.

GAMES/GAME DESIGN

NARCosis

This was the first level I ever designed, as well as my first time using Unity. Videos of this project are on the Video page.

Escape from Treasure Key

Made in Perlenspiel. Fun little game.

Yankee Doodle

Redoux of the popular platformer Doodle Jump. This was for a coding class.

Apple Toss

Apple Toss was a mobile game I co-created with Mark Perry. It was available on the Google Play store.

Apple Toss tossing apples

Apple Toss required the player to collect apples and then toss them into holes for points.

SwampEscape

Swamp Escape is a game I created and pitched for final project. It is a 3D survival game that doesn't involve zombies or guns.

Diet Wars!

Diet Wars! is a card game I designed and prototyped. The goal is to lose weight while navigating everyday circumstances that wreck diets.

Rainy Journey

Rainy Journey was my Final Project for my game design degree. It was a team effort, with all contributing to most aspects of the game.

This is one of the two levels I designed for my final project in my game design bachelors program.

Pirate Island (working title)

Hut with prison in background for unreleased project. I was doing level design, asset acquisition, and quests.

Training Video

I was tasked with creating a training video covering the Conscious Competency Theory for a fictional corporation.

Micro Bites

Another piece of video training. This one designed to introduce the viewer to a program of good habits.

Road Trip!

Road Trip! is an educational game designed to be played/used both inside the classroom and out.

Nutrition Infographic

Infographic about nutrition, the PDF version is interactive, with pop outs.

Essential 6 video

Video was created with Keynote, Garage Band, and iMovie, as well as Photo Shop

Pitch for an educational 2D top down game for kids.
